These rules apply to every Purple Bee show giveaway unless a show’s page links to different rules. Each show’s event page lists its prizes, entry period and drawing times, and those details are part of these rules.
No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Everyone gets one entry, however they take part, and paying does not improve your odds. Void where prohibited.
Sponsor
Purple Bee LLC, 8117 Lime Creek Rd, Volente, TX 78641 (“Sponsor”). There is no co-sponsor.
Who can enter
Legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older when they enter. Employees, contractors and crew of Sponsor and of the featured artist for that show, the show’s visual artist, and their immediate families and households are not eligible.
How to enter
There are three ways to take part. Each gives one entry.
Free stream pass: during the entry period, get a free stream pass on the show’s event page or at purplebee.org/live with your name and email, leave “Enter me in the giveaway” ticked, and confirm your email by clicking the link we send you. Unconfirmed entries are not included in any drawing. A free stream pass includes Purple Bee show news emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time without affecting your entry.
In-person ticket or support: where the show’s event page lists them, buying a ticket or supporting the artist’s project on Sponsor’s website (such as an album pre-order, at or above the minimum shown) enters you. Thank-you rewards for higher amounts are rewards, not entries. You are entered unless you untick “Enter me in the giveaway” at checkout. Some one-tap wallet checkouts never show that box; if yours didn’t, you are entered.
Giving a mobile number or agreeing to texts is optional and does not affect your entry.
Limit: one entry per person, whichever way you take part and however many times. Several tickets or orders, or a pass and a ticket, are still one entry. Multiple emails used by the same person count as one person.
Bonus entries: once you are entered (for a free pass, once you confirm your email), you get a personal share link. You get one bonus entry for each friend who takes part through your link and is entered and confirmed, up to 2 bonus entries. A friend counts once, through the first link they used, and only if they had not already taken part. They must be eligible and confirmed before entries close. Bonus entries work the same for everyone and never depend on a purchase.
Entry period
Entries open on the date shown on the show’s event page. They close at the end of the show, when we close entries and announce it on the stream, and no later than the closing time shown on the event page. Entries and email confirmations after the close do not count.
Drawings
Winners are chosen by random drawing from all eligible, confirmed entries, held live on the show’s stream. People in the room and online are in the same drawings for every prize. Each entry, including each bonus entry, counts once in each drawing.
Each prize drawn during the show has its own drawing, using the eligible entries at that moment. A person can win at most one prize drawn during the show and remains eligible for the grand prize. The grand prize drawing uses all eligible entries after entries close.
Each drawing also picks three alternates, in order, the same random way. Each drawing is recorded with a random seed and a snapshot of the entry list so it can be checked afterwards. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries.
Removing entries
Sponsor may remove entries only for: duplicates, automated or fake entries, entries that cannot be verified, ineligible entrants, late entries, and refunds. A refund removes the entry only if that order was the person’s only way in; another paid order or a confirmed free pass keeps it. The same standard applies to every way of entering, and every removal is logged.
Prizes
Prizes and their approximate retail values are listed on each show’s event page. When a prize is original artwork, the winner receives the physical original only; reproduction and image rights stay with the artist and anyone the artist has licensed them to. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. If a prize cannot be awarded as described, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for any taxes; Sponsor will issue a Form 1099 where required.
Winners
Winners do not need to be present or watching. We announce each winner on the stream and email them at the address they entered with. A winner’s first name and last initial may be shown on the stream and in the giveaway panel on the show’s event page. We do not publish full names.
A winner must reply within 72 hours of our email and may be asked to confirm eligibility. If a winner does not reply in time, is not eligible or declines the prize, it goes to the next alternate from the same drawing. If no alternates are left, we hold a new drawing the same way.
Prizes are handed over at the venue or shipped by Sponsor, at no cost to the winner, within 30 days after the winner confirms. If a prize comes in sizes, such as a T-shirt, we ask the winner for theirs.
General
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Stripe, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram or any other platform. By entering, you agree to these rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final.
By entering, you release Sponsor, the show’s artists and their teams from any claim arising from the giveaway or a prize, and Sponsor is not liable for any loss or injury connected with either, to the extent the law allows. Sponsor is not responsible for entries lost to technical problems. If fraud, a technical failure or anything else outside Sponsor’s control affects the giveaway, Sponsor may cancel or change it, or draw from the eligible entries received before the problem. These rules are governed by Texas law, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas.
