About the show

True soul music asks you to slow down, settle in, and sit inside the sound. The Element of a Vibe is a live recording born out of spontaneity, intentionality, and being in the present. On Sunday, December 13, J Reese opens the doors of Purple Bee Studio to bring family, music lovers, and curious strangers into an intimate living room of sound where nothing is rushed and every note has room to breathe.

Backed by some of Austin’s greatest musicians, BGVs, brand-new original debuts, and visual art created live on stage by painter Xavier Alvarado, this is feel-good artistry in motion. Whether you are sitting in the room at Purple Bee Studio or joining the interactive broadcast from home, you’re here on purpose, as an element of the vibe.
