What began as a beer-fueled backyard game involving inflatable donkey toys is about to become one of the weirdest new sports to hit national television. Donk Toss, a chaotic and hilarious hybrid of cornhole, water bottle flipping and party culture, will make its broadcast debut on ESPN2’s “The Ocho” on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 p.m. ET.

We’re throwing a live watch party at Purple Bee to celebrate – This event coincides with another show at Purple Bee on the same evening – We’ll have The Snozzberries from Asheville, NC performing a livestream concert from 7-10pm, and then we’ll roll right into the ESPN2 premiere of the Donk Toss World Championships at 10pm central.

We encourage everyone to come early and buy a ticket to The Snozzberries. But if you want to arrive later, we still encourage you to make a donation at the door for this awesome band – they’re making Purple Bee the last stop of their Summer tour. Doors at 6, show at 7:30pm.
