Thursday May 11th @ 7:30PM CT: Purple Bee presents an interactive livestream concert: the Musical Universe of Charles Peters- with the Backwards Eight, Kenny The Spider, and special guest Hilary York, live from Purple Bee Studios in Volente, TX.  ⚡️

Charles Peters IV is multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and a central figure in the music scene that’s been bubbling out from Conroe, TX, a small country town turned suburb, just north of Houston. Peters founded the well-known Houston indie rock band Three Fantastic in the early 00’s. He now plays in 2 food themed bands – Supper Party and the Pizzas, and he’s bringing 2 more of his projects to the Bee: his solo band The Backwards 8, and his psych-rock trio Kenny the Spider. In Charles’ words, expect “rock, soul, folk, psychedelic, blues, funk and other stuff. maybe a little country? i think they call this americana now…” Special guest (and Charles’ cousin) Hilary York opens the show.
